Kwame Alexander, Michael I. Rudell Artistic Director of Literary Arts, continues his leadership of Chautauqua Literary Arts, which includes the 2024 Summer Assembly’s Chautauqua Literary and Scientific Circle authors and events, writers and poets in-residence, and Writers’ Center workshops and classes. Kwame Alexander will also participate in the Chautauqua Opera Company libretto reading of Jerre Dye’s The Summer Place on July 3, 5:00 – 6:30 p.m. at the Hall of Philosophy.
